It's 7 O' Clock Somewhere

Who needs coffee when you’ve got this charming, cheerful cover of “7 AM” from Animal Crossing to start your day? Daniel Capo enlisted the help of several people, including his wife, to bring us this cover, and all that extra effort pays off in a big way. First and foremost, I found myself delighted by the whimsical camerawork, which perfectly complements the track. The track itself reminds me of Ronald Jenkees, with an eclectic mix of live and virtual instruments. I haven’t stopped thinking about this track since I heard it a few days ago, and I can only hope that with a new Animal Crossing game on the horizon (hehe), we’ll see many more covers like this one to brighten our days, lift our moods, and put a spring in our steps.
