The Most Influential Soundtrack of the Past Decade?

What's the most influential soundtrack of the past decade (2010 to present)?

My money's on #Undertale, but what do you all think?

Recently, I asked the VGM community, “What’s the most influential video game soundtrack of the past decade?” Naturally, responses varied, but a few games came out on top. Undertale and Breath of the Wild were mentioned several times, but influential could mean many things to different people. I often credit Metroid Prime with inspiring me to start making music, but I don’t think that soundtrack is more influential than, say, Super Metroid. As with most of my questions, there are no wrong answers, so what’s a video game soundtrack that has influenced you?

Id agree, but on a personal level I found Cuphead, DOOM, Celeste, and BOTW to really excite me in places OSTs could go

I think #HorizonZeroDawn takes the cake for me. No soundtrack has ever immersed me so much into the game that I couldn’t even sing any song from it for you. It was so good I don’t remember it.

You had Skyrim right at the start of this decade, then Last of Us for me, definitely Undertale and Persona 5 in terms of influence on the VGM community. Kingdom Hearts 3 was great as well as indie titles like Stardew Valley, Oxenfree and Celeste.

For inflencing me as a musician I would easily say Xenoblade Chronicles 2 but Undertale left the bigger impact on people in general!

The #BreathoftheWild soundtrack is both brilliant and subtle. It adds to that feeling of exploration without overwhelming you. It's simple yet complex at the same time. It's perfect for that game.
