FamilyJules has been an inspiration to many VGM cover artists, and one cover artist, Dann Link, decided to show his appreciation for the legendary guitarist with this 20-minute medley covering 33 tracks. I reached out to Dann for more information, and he provided the following:

I actually started working on this tribute two months ago, and it was very challenging making the song list. I had over 50+ songs that Jules covered, and in the end, I decided to choose 3 songs per year. Jules has been my biggest inspiration. Thanks to him, I started to make covers, so I wanted to make a special gift for 10 years of FamilyJules making video game covers.

Both Dann and Jules are shining examples of what make the VGM community so great, so I asked Dann if he had any words of encouragement for anyone new to the community.

The VGM community is the best place to be! If you have any questions or want some feedback to improve on your covers, don't be afraid to ask for help. We're a family, and thanks to many video game cover artists such as Christian Richardson, Ro Panuganti, RichaadEB, and more, I’ve improved over the years. Anyone is welcome to join this community, and we all love when someone starts their own journey.
