Would you believe that Banjo Guy Ollie learned a new instrument to create this exquisite Dune cover? According to the description, BGO spent months learning the basics of the Egyptian Oud just for this video. I don’t know about you, but I say the practice was well-worth it as this is one of my favorite tracks from BGO in a long time. As someone who struggles to compose and arrange with virtual instruments, I can’t imagine the dedication required to learn an instrument so quickly, but then again, this is Banjo Guy Ollie we’re talking about.
