Drawing inspiration from Tool and Dream Theater, Bullicann (with the help of Draskon and Ro Panuganti) created this 7-minute cover of Easton Kingdom from Super Mario Land. This is the kind of ambitious, borderline ridiculous cover that I love to hear. Winding lead guitars, rumbling basslines, and mysterious VSTs take us on a musical journey that’s as fun as it is exotic. I can only hope we won’t have to wait 13 years to hear the another collaboration from these talented musicians.
