What's Your Favorite Quick Fire Album?
In late May, GameGrooves announced a new type of contest—the Quick Fire Album Contest. Creating a single video game cover is challenging enough, but I wanted to see if the VGM community could rise to a new challenge. The challenge? Create a 5-track EP in just two months.
Many answered the call and sent in pitches of what they would create given the time and money. In fact, so many people responded that I decided to increase the number of albums produced from three to six. Unfortunately, one person had to drop out, but the other five projects continued, and as of today, all five albums have been released.
First of all, I need to thank all of the incredible artists who worked so hard to produce these five albums. Each one of them displayed an impressive level of skill, determination, and organization. Next, I want to thank AHmusic for his superb mastering. Lastly, I want to thank all of the artists who brought these albums to life with the incredible cover artwork that you see below.
So, now I must ask a very important question. What’s your favorite Quick Fire album?
