GameGrooves Heat Up Cover Competition

Summer is almost here, and GameGrooves is ready to celebrate with the GameGrooves Heat Up Cover Competition!

  • Challenge: Make a video game cover/arrangement that makes you want to dance (any genre/style).

  • Deadline: Thursday, June 30th at 11:59 pm EST.

  • Prizes:

    • First place: $100

    • Second place: $50

    • Best Dance: $50

  • Judging Criteria:

    • I will be judging based on three things: arrangement, performance, and audio production.

    • I will not be judging video production.

    • I will award $50 to the best dance performance, so feel free to bust a move if you make a video.

  • Details:

    • The submission must be an original arrangement (i.e. you must create it from scratch for this competition).

    • All entries will be included in public playlists, so entries must be uploaded to a public platform (Soundcloud, YouTube, etc.)

      • The track can be unlisted as long as I can add it to a playlist.

    • Include details about the arrangement (i.e. was it an original arrangement or did you draw inspiration from something else?).

    • Include details about the performance (i.e. was it recorded live or arranged in MIDI?).
