Introducing Japanese Lunchtime Rush

Japanese Lunchtime Rush are a collection of Southern California musicians that cover their favorite anime songs and video game songs sprinkled with Neosoul, Funk, J-Rock, R&B and Fusion influences. If that doesn’t get your attention, try watching this fantastic cover of “Rumbling Highway” from Sonic Adventure 2 (aka my favorite OST). It’s rare to see a Sonic Adventure 2 cover, and it’s even rarer to see a cover that’s not “City Escape” or “Live and Learn”, but I’m so glad these gentlemen gave this track the attention it deserves. After just one video, I can tell that this group is going to be something special, and I can’t wait to hear what’s in store!
