This Friday, GameGrooves will be releasing its 4th charity album, Rainbow Roads: A Queer Tribute to Video Game Music. This album seeks to highlight LGBTQ+ composers, characters and video games as well as cover artists.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past month, GameGrooves recently hosted a cover contest that challenged VGM artists to rework an existing arrangement.

For this article, I asked several VGM musicians one very important question: “How has your relationship with the VGM community changed in 10 years?”
