I had the great pleasure of hosting a panel on how to create a VGM cover album for this year’s vgmtogether.

By almost any metric, vgmtogether was a smash hit, so it should come as no surprise that their team is planning for another event in the future.

While there were plenty of highlights during vgmtogether this past weekend, one moment (or video) stood out from the rest—“Line Them Up! A Paper Mario: The Origami King Concert” brought together over 160 musicians for a 30-minute medley.

In just a few days, we’ll be able to experience an unprecedented virtual event that celebrates video game music as well as the VGM community—I’m talking about vgmtogether, of course.
