Joey was a founding member and drummer for the metal band Slipknot for many years until he began a private struggle with transverse myelitis. He eventually overcame transverse myelitis and continued to make music, while inspiring a new generation of musicians until his passing on July 26, 2021. With this album, we hope to pay tribute to Joey and to the legacy that he created.

All proceeds benefit The Transverse Myelitis Society and The Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association (SRNA).

The Transverse Myelitis Society

The Transverse Myelitis Society (TM Society) are a small UK-based charity with over 2,000 members whose main aim is to offer support to those who may have, or know someone with, Transverse Myelitis and its associated conditions such as ADEM, Neuro Myelitis Optica (NMO) and others. It is manned by an entirely unpaid voluntary group of people who mostly have TM themselves.

Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association

The Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association (SRNA) is a not-for-profit international organization dedicated to the support of children, adolescents, and adults with a spectrum of rare neuroimmune disorders including: Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM), Acute Flaccid Myelitis (AFM), MOG Antibody Disease (MOGAD), Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD), Optic Neuritis (ON) and Transverse Myelitis (TM).
