Happy Birthday, Samus!

Before you get too confused, don’t be fooled—our favorite bounty hunter isn’t celebrating a birthday today, rather the VGM community is celebrating a new album from progressive synthwave trio, B/I/R/T/H/D/A/Y. The new(ish) album pays tribute to some of the most memorable songs from the 1994 classic Super Metroid, molding synthwave, progressive rock, and dance music into a short but sweet release. While the album is a little rough around the edges, the arrangements are some of the freshest and most unique I’ve in some time. This is one B/I/R/T/H/D/A/Y that we should we all celebrate.
