2020 Replay Quick Fire Cover Challenge
If you enjoyed last month’s Quick Fire Cover Challenge (QFCC), I have great news—this month, we’ll be featuring a new guest host (Jonny Atma!) as well as new prizes! The details are a little more involved this time, so make sure you read the following instructions carefully.
Challenge: Make a five-track medley honoring video games released in 2020.
The medley must be at least one minute long (longer is great!).
The medley must include at least five tracks (more is great!).
All tracks must be from a video game released in 2020 (no remasters, no re-releases).
The tracks can be from one game or multiple games.
Guest Host: Jonny Atma!
Jonny will review all entries (after the deadline) and provide feedback and/or critique on a platform of his choosing.
Deadline: Wednesday, March 31st at 11:59 pm EST.
Prize: All entrants will receive either a $25 gift card sponsored by Impact Soundworks or a free GameGrooves Elements album of their choosing.
If this is your first time entering a QFCC this year, you will receive a $25 gift card.
If this is not your first time entering a QFCC this year, you will receive one free album of your choosing from the GameGrooves Elements series.
Details:
All entries will be included in public playlists, so entries must be uploaded to a public platform (Soundcloud, YouTube, etc.)
The track can be unlisted as long as I can add it to a playlist.
Include details about the arrangement (i.e. was it an original arrangement or did you draw inspiration from something else?).
Include details about the performance (i.e. was it recorded live or arranged in MIDI?).
