Just like last year, 2021 was challenging year for many, but hopefully these covers from the VGM community can spread some holiday cheer.

Memories of Hyrule by Patti Rudisill could be described in many ways—playful, whimsical, and at times, pensive. It’s a quick, delightful tour of Hyrule, allowing listeners to relive their favorite moments from Breath of the Wild.

While there were plenty of highlights during vgmtogether this past weekend, one moment (or video) stood out from the rest—“Line Them Up! A Paper Mario: The Origami King Concert” brought together over 160 musicians for a 30-minute medley.

In just a few days, we’ll be able to experience an unprecedented virtual event that celebrates video game music as well as the VGM community—I’m talking about vgmtogether, of course.
