Ro Panuganti Announces The Cinema Games

Can you feel the excitement in the air?

That’s the feeling that comes whenever a new VGM contest is announced, and today I’m happy to share details of The Cinema Games. Created by Ro Panuganti and Peter Gillette (of GHDY productions), this two-week-long contest challenges viewers “create the most cinematic, creative, and musically awesome video game OR movie soundtrack cover possible!” What that means is up to you, of course, but as the name implies, the scoring will be heavily weighted toward the video half of a music video. Prizes include a green screen kit, a lighting kit, and much more. With a deadline of August 30th, there isn’t much time to waste—in other words, lights, camera, action!

For more details, including some examples to give you inspiration, check out the announcement video above!
