Hyde209 Celebrates Soul Reaver's 20th Anniversary with this Haunting Cover

For Soul Reaver’s 20th anniversary, Hyde209 paid tribute to Kurt Harland’s soundtrack with a haunting cover of “Ozar Midrashim”. Intersplicing studio footage within the game’s cutscenes, Hyde209 conveys the game’s story of a fallen vampire. While I’ve never played the game myself, I have a good idea of what it entailed: lots of blood, lots of gore, and lots of good music. Choir vocals, staccato drums, and eerie synths create an atmosphere of dread and horror, perfect for a game about vampires. Keep your cross and garlic close while listening to this track.
