For this article, I asked several VGM musicians one very important question: “How has the VGM community changed over the past 10 years?”

For this first episode of Deep Cuts, I reached out to Hyde209 and asked him to choose a soundtrack that is special to him. He chose Puggsy, a 2-d platformer from the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) era with a delightful soundtrack.

For Soul Reaver’s 20th anniversary, Hyde209 paid tribute to Kurt Harland’s soundtrack with a haunting cover of “Ozar Midrashim”.
