This Final Fantasy VII Cover Is Shipshape!

I love a good “One-Wing Angel” or “Aerith’s Theme” cover as much as the next person, but there’s something to be said about a good deep cut, and I don’t think you can go deeper than this cover of “Shinra Cargo Ship” by Hyde209. This particular track features samples of a pillow, a tin whistle, a melodica, a harmonium, a tuba recording, a tambourine, a string impression, and a toy piano. The resulting cover is eccentric, charming, and oddly sounds like it belongs on a Grant Kirkhope soundtrack rather than a Final Fantasy OST.
