While 2020 has been a challenging year for almost everyone, it has been a banner year for video game music, with the release of several highly anticipated titles. What’s more, the video game cover community has been more active than ever.

It’s no secret that I’ve been a little obsessed with the Ikenfell OST lately, so naturally, I created a Quick Fire Cover Challenge (QFCC) a few weeks ago.

After repeatedly hearing about the Ikenfell OST, I decided to have a listen today, and what composers Aivi & Surasshu, and Sabrielle Augustin have created is nothing short of incredible.
